Everything you need to know before your stay at apARTment Madrid.
By Taxi, Uber or Cabify you will most likely be dropped at Plaza de la Villa, and from there reach Calle del Codo, where our apartments are. You can also enter through Mercado de San Miguel up to Plaza Conde de Miranda.
By car, the Plaza Mayor car park on Calle Mayor is the best option, just a 3-minute walk away.
Public transport:
Bus: lines 1, 133, 147, 23, 35, 65
Train: Sol station (C3, C4A, C4B)
Metro: Ópera (lines 2 and 5) and Sol (lines 1, 2 and 3)
Once we receive your booking request and documentation, we confirm your stay. We share an access code that you enter on the automatic device at the entrance to the apartments, on the left-hand side.
Past the small glass hall, on the left you will find a locker numbered for each apartment, where you collect your key by entering the same access code.
All of them include:
• Sheets, bedspreads, towels and amenities.
• Air conditioning and climate control.
• Fully equipped kitchens (3-ring induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, Italian and capsule coffee makers, toaster, juicer and cookware).
• Bathrooms with hairdryer and magnifying mirror.
• Smart TV with Netflix and high-speed Wi-Fi.
• Shared laundry with washer, dryer and iron.
• Wardrobes, desks and comfortable common areas.
We do not have specific lockers for suitcases, but we have an area to leave luggage unsupervised (we are not liable for incidents).
Nearby left-luggage companies: Lock and Be Free / Locker in the City.
Carrefour Express — Calle Mayor, 45. Open 08:30 to 24:00.
Día — Plaza de San Miguel, 6. Open 08:30 to 22:00.
El Club del Gourmet — Calle Preciados, 3 (gourmet options and select wines). Open 10:00 to 22:00.
The apartments are practically at street level. The building has no lift or ramp; access is via three steps.
It is usually manageable with prams or heavy luggage and, in many cases, viable for people with reduced mobility with assistance.
